July 2018 – Persimmon: exceptional Captan authorisation
Attached is the resolution of the Directorate-General for Agricultural Production Health of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, granting exceptional authorisation to market and use plant protection products formulated with captan 80% [WG] w/w to heal hail wounds in persimmon crops. This authorisation applies only to Albalat de la Ribera, Alberic, Algemesí, Alginet, Alzira, Benicull de Xúquer, Benifaió, Benimodo, Benimuslem, Carcaixent, Càrcer, Carlet, Guadassuar, L’Alcúdia, Massalavés, Polinyà de Xúquer, Sollana, Sueca and Tous in the Valencian Community.
Neither the fruit nor its waste may be used as human food or animal feed. Use is authorised only for the specified period.
Authorisation period: 13 July to 13 August 2018, both dates inclusive.
